With an Airbnb in a New Hampshire hotspot I meet all sorts of people, the biggest perk of the job. Last week, I hosted a man and wife from New Zealand who traveled all the way to Gorham to stay at the Trail Break. I didn't recognize him till he showed me his picture in uniform astride his horse. It all came back in a flash!
Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli encountered Éomer and the riders of Rohan returning to Edoras after slaughtering the Orc-band outside Fangorn Forest the day before. Aragorn informed the commander their companions, Merry and Pippin, were captured by Orcs. The commander had disturbing news. The two captives were probably killed along with the Orcs when his riders attacked.
But enough of that. Graeme's farm is near where Lord of the Rings was filmed and being an experienced rider with his own well-trained horse, he took a job as one of Éomer's riders. Visitors from around the world make running an Airbnb a 'World -class" experience, and I can hardly wait to see who arrives next!
