My First Repeater

Updated: May 4, 2020

Yannick first visited the Trail Break in early September. He returned to climb Mount Washington the following August. The next day, I guided him up the Shelburne Trail to the falls and Shelbourne Basin where Yannick took a very chilly dip. We also hiked the Peabody Brook Trail to Giant Falls, which, incidentally, does not live up to its name in August! I’ll have to return during the spring snow-melt runoff.

The greatest joy in running an Airbnb is interacting with guests. It’s always fun here at the Trail Break, but guiding my guest to some of New Hampshire’s hidden treasures, rarely seen by tourists, is a special treat and privilege.

Yannick returned a third time with three friends and although I wanted to join their hike, other plans interfered. Perhaps next time, Yannick! By then I’ll have explored and become familiar with more of the many trails scattered throughout our magnificent White Mountain National Forest.

Here's what Yannick says about the Trail Break. “I came back after a year and will come back in the future! Glen deserve his SuperHost status, he is caring and has excellent advice about what can be done in the white Mountains. Don't think too much, Glen's house is where you want to stay during your trip!”
