NEWS FROM The Trail Break Airbnb, Gorham, New Hampshire

Last March, my co-host Steve and I decided to close our Airbnbs until the pandemic is under control. Little did we know that eleven months later we’d still be closed and looking at a worsening situation. I truly wish we could reopen now but it looks like it may not be until late summer. If there’s a bright side, it’s that I’ve had time to make significant improvements in anticipation of someday reopening. Pictured here are a some I hope will tempt you to return, or perhaps book your first visit!

Pictured above is the living-room/kitchen as it looks today. During the lockdown, I framed more of Anne A. Wagner's art, which I put on display. Each room in the Trail Break is now decorated with original works of art. During your stay here, you can eat out at one of Gorham’s fine restaurants or prepare your own food here. Finding your way around a strange kitchen can be a daunting experience, but I’m here to show you where things are and make sure your stay here is one worth repeating. The only requirement is that you leave the kitchen as you found it!

Snowshoe’s can be rented at the Trail Break for $20 a day. Rental includes snowshoes, poles, area map, and instructions. Mapped tours are offered in both easy and moderate difficulty levels, from one to three hours in length. beginners. I’m currently working on a 4th trail that’s a bit more ambitious, 4 miles in approximately 4 hours.

The Trail Break offers two double bedrooms which can be reserved separately or together. There are three separate listings, one for each room and a third with reduced rates for both bedrooms. Just keep scrolling if you don’t see the offer you want. Your reservation includes private bedroom, kitchen/dining/living room, WI-FI, laundry, backyard firepit for making “smores”, and oodles of free parking.
